D.E.M. was born in 1987 as an EMI filters manufacturer

D.E.M. was born in 1987 as an EMI filters manufacturer for the household appliance and related products. The company is completely private and the productions site of Pakrac in Croatia and the administrative/management site of Longarone (Belluno) are owned.

With a production of more than 10 million filters per year, D.E.M. is the European leader in its sector. Experience, innovation, product quality and service have enabled DEM to achieve a leading position, a constantly growing turnover, and the employment of more than 300 employees.

DEM “Custom Oriented” policy allows to consider our client real partner in our success.

At the Longarone plant there is also the Laboratory for Electromagnetic Compatibility measurements (EMC). The laboratory, with more than 25 years of experience, is recognised as a suitable facility for issuing test reports and tests for compliance with standards.

We test all our products in-house or directly in production, and we also have the possibility to carry out tests for external Clients who require this service.

D.E.M., already leader in the manufacturing of components wound on toroidal magnetic cores, has for years been present on the market with its own complete line of EMI filters dedicated to industrial, computer, scientific and medical equipment, small and large household appliances and lighting.

Constant innovation led D.E.M. to be the first to introduce the filter solution integrated into the power cable by means of co-moulding and to develop a filter made without the use of impregnating resins, fully complying with the WEEE/Raee directives on environmental protection.

Through the study of the mounting system, we realised a bracket with integrated earth terminals that led to a drastic reduction in the time required to mount the filter and cable on the equipment, simplifying electrical connections and consequently reducing costs.

Filters with CEE Plug

Among latest achievements, our company boast the realisation of filters with CEE plugs, professional filters with power ratings up to 400 A with the aim of further increasing the production possibilities and product range.

D.E.M. is able to produce special filters for industrial applications, high-power equipment, switchgear (DIN connections) and switching power supplies.

Electronic boards in partnership or on behalf of third parties

We also produce electronic boards in partnership or for third parties with leading multinational companies. Since 2013 we have been manufacturing automation interfaces, current transformers, network analysers and power meters under the brand QEED; under the brand D.E.M. we work as technical supplier of electronic solutions mainly for the world of industrial automation. Always focused on research and innovation, QEED also proposes itself as a partner for the development of IoT technologies for the networking of devices and the resulting access to the Industrial 4.0 Plan. Moreover, we have been developing and manufacturing custom electronic boards for the market for almost 5 years on a turnkey basis.

Our production capacity, with Longarone (IT) and Pakrac (HR) locations, reaches more than 50,000 electronic boards per week, and continuous innovation allows us to continue to remain a valuable partner with strong flexibility and know-how.
